This is it: the last day of March. It's been great and all, but personally I'm ready to finally get into April. No, not just because it's my birthday month, sheesh, but also because we've got a lot of fun pieces coming up on FANGRRLS, if I do say so myself. I should know; I edited most of them.

Are you diving into any movies this weekend? How about video games? Far Cry 5 is quickly becoming my new addiction (mostly because you get to have a dog buddy), and Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet is my new binge-watch after this piece from FANGRRLS writer Kayleigh.

- Why did fans leave LiveJournal, and where will they go after Tumblr? (Slate)
- From superhero shows to soaps, South Asian actors are taking over television. (Vanity Fair)
- With the recent anniversary of Beetlejuice, one writer is asking: Where have all the weird girls gone? (Medium)
- On the representation of disabled women in cinema, examining films like The Shape of Water. (RogerEbert.com)
