Objects in Space 3/8/18: Happy International Women's Day

Today, I had the opportunity to interview a woman I've always admired and been a fan of (conversation to come, of course!), and by the time you read today's Objects in Space I'll have seen A Wrinkle in Time - so it feels like the perfect way to celebrate International Women's Day.

On a sentimental note, I'll always be grateful for getting to work with the smart, intelligent, empowering team at SYFY Fangrrls. Editing and reading their words every day has been a true privilege and I could not be more thankful.

Today's links are about celebrating (what else) women, both fictional and real:

- Electric Literature is announcing a “Read More Women” campaign.
- An illustrated celebration of women writers who have transformed the world. (Brain Pickings)
- On the simple, revolutionary power of Ava DuVernay’s vision for A Wrinkle in Time. (BuzzFeed)
- Here’s why you still need to check out Marvel’s America. (Remezcla)

You can send us suggestions for stuff to include in future round-ups at any time, either in the comments below or via our Twitter feed at @Syfyfangrrls.
