There are some movies that are widely recognized as being cinematic gems. There are others where you know you're just going to go and have an entertaining time, regardless of any greater artistic significance. Skyscraper is kind of a bit of each, though we've reached a general consensus On Here that we'll see any movie that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is starring in, no matter how ridiculous the concept.

- Skyscraper is a surprising mark of improvement for disabled representation. (Slashfilm)
- Sorry to Bother You’s Boots Riley on navigating the Hollywood machine. (Shondaland)
- Does Die Hard hold up for someone who’s never seen it before? Spoiler alert: yes. (Slashfilm)
- A day late, but this round-up of the pop culture infiltration of Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees in different media is thoroughly entertaining. (Bloody Disgusting)

You can send us suggestions for stuff to include in future round-ups at any time, either in the comments below or via our Twitter feed at @Syfyfangrrls.
