Apparently, no one told the weather we were supposed to be heading into September next week, because it has been uncomfortably hot and humid in certain corners and I am not amused. Oh, well. Guess I'll just have to stay inside and read all afternoon (something I am not opposed to, for the record, I have a giant stack of books on my nightstand and more ebooks burning a hole in my Kindle besides).

If you want even more reading, check out some links!

- On the anniversary, one writer looks back at Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. (Bright Wall/Dark Room)
- From Pam Beesly to Olivia Pope, corporate women’s TV wardrobes have gotten way, way better over time. (Fashionista)
- Romance novels are not “junk food” reading. (Book Riot)
- Mysticism is taking over the internet, from astrology memes to Instagram crystals. Is it all nonsense or a much-needed rejection of a data-driven internet? (The New York Times)
