So, on this day in 1976, Paul Lynde gathered Margaret Hamilton, Betty White, Florence Henderson, HR Pufnstuf, and KISS together and did a Halloween special.

It's just insane. And keeps going. Get thee to YouTube for the whole thing.

Today is also the birthday of Winona Ryder. Born on this day in, get this, Winona, Minnesota. In 1971. She got her big break as Lydia Deets in Beetlejuice (1988). And let’s keep applauding that.

And we also shouldn’t forget Edward Scissorhands (1990).

Also born on this day, but in 1947, Richard Dreyfuss. Close Encounters, anyone?

How about Jaws (1975)?

Tomorrow: Chaos in the streets.
