In the midst of all the Star Wars: The Last Jedi fervor, Oscar Isaac seems to be everywhere you look. He's appearing in Annihilation with Natalie Portman in early 2018, and now it seems like he might be joining another well-known property from your childhood -- The Addams Family.

According to Entertainment Weekly (via Tracking Board), Isaac is in talks to voice the role of Gomez in MGM's upcoming Addams Family animated film, which just got an October 2019 release date. The film (based on the cartoons created by Charles Addams) will be helmed by Sausage Party co-director Conrad Vernon, and be yet another iteration of the creepy and kooky family called Addams. Pamela Pettler (Corpse Bride) penned the script, with Matt Lieberman on revisions.

Now, you probably just got really excited as it dawned on you just how perfect Isaac is for the role of Gomez -- the husband of Morticia Addams and father to Wednesday and Pugsley. He certainly looks the part (which we know doesn't matter in animation, but is still neat) and for sure has the comedic chops to join the zany family. Plus, when people see him, they do scream.

It's such a great fit that fans have been lobbying for the casting all over the internet. There's even a fan video featuring Isaac in the role. Check out the intense guyliner below:

What do you think? Does it seem like Isaac is perfect for the role? Let's just make it official and start getting kooky.

The Addams Family will creep into theaters Oct. 11, 2019.
