The network has been slowly dropping teasers, photos, and new synopses for the crossover — which once again united The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl for a single three-night story — for the last month, and now we're down to the final hours before things kick off. As with the other trailers for the event, things open with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) waking up one morning to find he's living Barry Allen's life, while Barry (Grant Gustin) finds he's living Oliver's.
Eventually, the two discover that reality is being rewritten by John Deegan (Jeremy Davies), a madman who was apparently granted one of The Monitor's (LaMonica Garrett) magic tomes to do with as he saw fit. That means that more than a life-swap is at stake. In fact, all of reality could soon unravel, and Oliver and Barry — now operating as the Flash and Arrow, respectively — have to make it stop.
To do that, they need to team up with Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and her cousin Superman (Tyler Hoechlin), but as we've all known for a while now, it'll take even more Arrowverse firepower to stop this crisis. It turns out that Deegan is holed up in Gotham City, and that's where the gang will meet Kate Kane (Ruby Rose), aka Batwoman. This trailer shows off even more of Kate in action, including a little peek at Rose out of the costume as the billionaire guardian of Gotham. Check it out:
At this point, it feels like we've learned pretty much everything we can about "Elseworlds" in the lead-up to its broadcast. There's nothing left to do but sit back and wait for the adventure to begin.
Everything kicks off Sunday night with The Flash leg of the adventure, followed by Arrow on Monday, and Supergirl on Tuesday.
