The Necronomicon, the Book of Vishanti, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Gray’s Sports Almanac: Books contain the information to unravel existence, raise the dead, create a time continuum paradox, or give you sound advice on the need for a good towel. And during the holiday season, books also make for great gifts. Gifting a book is essentially like giving knowledge to your recipient. And since many collectible editions are quite large, with quality paper stock and brilliant photographs, that gifted knowledge additionally looks really fancy and important.
Though you may wish to stay away from anything by Megadodo Publications (their editions are riddled with devastating typos, errors and gross understatements), the following Paper Cuts guide is a pretty swell list of gift suggestions for those in your life who love words, words, words -- and pretty pictures!
