You think it's bad fighting General Zod? Imagine having to defend the guy!
General Zod is not exactly what you might call a subtle villain. He's great and all, but, jeez, his narcissistic machinations are writ awfully large. How he ever rose to any kind of power, let alone had willing acolytes, is a bit of a mystery.
And yet, for all that is so cartoony about Terence Stamp's version of Zod in Superman II, he's still entrancing, charismatic and fun. That's probably why people still have such an attachment to the character even today.
But just because we like him doesn't mean we'd want to be the attorney for his defense on Krypton. And yet here we have an animated video based on a sketch with that exact premise. Even better, it stars Geek Supreme Patton Oswalt as the defense attorney, Leeg-El (geddit?).
Bless his evil little heart, but we're pretty sure no one's going to be kneeling before Zod in the Phantom Zone.
