Patty Jenkins teases Wonder Woman's invisible jet in future DCEU films

The big-screen Wonder Woman is riding a wave of positively incredible critical buzz, but don’t think that means they didn’t hold back a few cool ideas for the sequel.

From everything we’ve heard, it sounds like Patty Jenkins’ big-screen take on Diana gets pretty much all the key ingredients right about the character. But there’s one critical piece of the puzzle that apparently doesn’t make it into the film: Wonder Woman’s iconic invisible jet. But just because it might seem a bit far-fetched for the extremely serious DCEU, that doesn’t mean we won’t see it live action.

Jenkins told Yahoo! she’s well aware of what the invisible jet means to fans, and that’s a component of the character that will definitely be introduced. Yeah, Jenkins said it’s coming. If that means Wonder Woman 2, or a future Justice League film, we don’t know. But look to the skies. Even if it won’t do any good (you know, because it’s invisible):

“The invisible jet is very important and ultimately we have to have the invisible jet. That’s a very big part of Wonder Woman.”

Wonder Woman opens this weekend and is tracking to be a solid success. If nothing else, it’s by far the most critically acclaimed DCEU film. So yeah, the world needs more Wonder Woman.
