Of course the critics will have their say, but as awards season begins picking up, the fans will always make their mark. That’s especially true when it comes to E!’s People’s Choice Awards. The program won’t air until November 11, but you can already start voting for your favorites in over 40 categories.

You can start voting on E!’s site here, with awards honoring Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show, Bingeworthy Show, Revival Show, Action Movie, and all of the stars crossing over from genre to become mainstream favorites. Best Movie has its race full of mostly genre films!

Some of the most promising nominees include the inevitable Black Panther, which dominated the box office and proved that superhero movies aren't even close to running out of steam. A Quiet Place and Solo make their mark on the voting scene, while Deadpool 2 and Mission: Impossible - Fallout also land nominations. Other geeky notables, like The Avengers: Infinity War, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Chris Pratt, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, The Walking Dead, Michael B. Jordan, and Westworld, are also represented.

While these are just the preliminary heavy hitters for the genres we love most, we won’t know for sure who’s got the best chance at the Oscars, Golden Globes, and various critic associations’ awards until later this fall. But for now, make your voice heard so that when Nov. 11 rolls around, you can say that you helped pick the People’s Choice winner — especially if it’s one of the first superhero movies ever to have a real shot at Best Picture.
