You knew it wouldn’t take long for Disney to take advantage of the Star Wars properties, and now we have a first look at the Mouse House’s Lucasfilm crossover with the popular animated series Phineas and Ferb.

The project comes on the heels of the recent Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel crossover, which brought the animated Avengers to town to help battle some baddies. Not surprisingly, it was a hit, which brings us to Star Wars.

The concept art here finds the cast of the ‘toon taking on traditional Star Wars roles, though we also get a peek at animated Han Solo and Chewbacca.

The animated series episode will reportedly follow the story of A New Hope, but with a few twists. Series creator Jeff Marsh said the plot will find Phineas and Ferb as Luke’s neighbors on Tatooine, which is where they get roped into the big adventure.

An air date hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s expected at some point in early-to-mid 2014.
