The augmented-reality video game Pokemon Go has taken the United States by storm, and it’s only a matter of time until things go a little too far. Well, here’s what it’ll probably look like once it gets the horror treatment.
In case you’ve been living under a rock the past couple weeks, here’s how it works: Pokemon Go is a mobile game in which you basically use your phone to hunt for Pokemon in the real world, wandering around neighborhoods and walking the streets to try and “find” Pokemon. It’s become a common sight the past few days to see scores of teens and 20-somethings just wandering around staring at their phones (more than usual) at popular Poke-sites.
But, what happens if you’re not in on the game? That’s the question asked by this hilarious little short, which Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker tweeted out while joking Season 3 of his acclaimed, Twilight Zone-esque series might put its own spin on the Poke-craze.
