Looks like the Earp curse will continue for at least another year. SYFY has announced that the hit show, Wynonna Earp, has been picked up for a third season on the network.

The network made the announcement during the show's official panel at San Diego Comic-Con, which was attended by stars Melanie Scrofano, Shamier Anderson, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, Katherine Barrell, Tim Rozon, Varun Saranga, and Tamara Duarte, along with showrunner and series creator Emily Andras and Wynonna's comic creator, Beau Smith.

The third season will premiere on the network sometime in 2018.

Wynonna Earp follows the adventures of its titular heroine (Scrofano) and her band of friends, including her younger sister, Waverly (Provost-Chalkley); Waverly's girlfriend, Nicole (Barrell); Wynonna's boss, Dolls (Anderson); and the immortal Doc Holliday (Rozon). This season took a major turn a few weeks ago when Wynonna discovered she was pregnant. That storyline has become a major driving force of the season and a point of storytelling pride for the cast and crew as they revel in the opportunity to tell the story of a pregnant superhero.

The show has created a huge fan following online, calling themselves Earpers, who join in to live-tweet each week's episode with the stars and creative team.

Wynonna Earp's second season airs Fridays at 10 p.m. EDT on SYFY.
