A Predator hunts down medieval knights in this insanely cool fan film

This might be the best idea ever, and someone needs to give these guys a pile of money to just make a feature film. Like, now.

We told you a while back that a new fan film was in the works aiming to pit some medieval knights against a bloodthirsty Predator. Now it’s finally done. Set during the Crusades, Predator: Dark Ages follows a group of Templar Knights put to the test when they encounter everyone's favorite hunter from outer space. This is a fascinating pitch for a short film, and even kind of could fit in with the established movie franchise canon.

So, how is it? Really fun, and surprisingly decent quality for a fan production. They do a great job of setting the tension across the board, and it never delves too far into cheesy territory (despite the light Monty Python and the Holy Grail vibe at times). They also did an excellent job with the on-screen Predator. Ahnold would be proud.

The short stars Adrian Bouchet, Amed Hashimi, Sabine Crossen, Ben Loyd-Holmes, Jon Campling, Joe Egan and Philip Lane. It was written and directed by James Bushe.
