The Walking Dead's third season can't start fast enough. Thankfully, AMC is willing to throw its fans a bone. Before next month's premiere, bide your time with some zombie-filled webisodes.
Starting Oct. 1, AMC will debut a new Dead-themed webseries called Cold Storage. Directed by The Walking Dead's special effects guru Greg Nicotero, the series features several familiar faces including Lost alum Daniel Roebuck (Dr. Leslie Arzt). Plus Cerina Vincent, who's best known for her role in 2002's Cabin Fever.
Cold Storage tells the story of a young man, Chase (played by Josh Stewart), trying to reach his sister in the early days of the zombie apocalypse. He finds temporary shelter in a storage facility run by a former employee named B.J. (Roebuck); however, things are not what they appear.
The webseries will consist of four five-minute episodes and focus on all-new characters.
Will this satisfy your thirst for zombie action?
The Walking Dead returns Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.
