I've always been fascinated by the legends of Bigfoot, and living in the Pacific Northwest, I'm always a bit wary when I hear some strange primal groan echoing deep in the damp, moss-covered forests of Oregon.

With that, here's a shocking new trailer for Primal Rage: The Legend of Oh-Mah, an upcoming indie horror movie that delves deeper into the mythology of the legendary sasquatch creature and its links to Native American culture. Directed by Patrick Magee, a veteran special effects and makeup artist whose resume includes Beyond Re-Animator, Dark Ride and Zombie Strippers, this will be his first gig behind the camera ... and from the looks of this teaser, he's got some cinematic tricks up his sleeve that could translate into an entertaining little monster movie.

Here's the official synopsis:

A newly reunited young couple’s drive through the Pacific Northwest turns into a nightmare as they are forced to face nature, unsavory locals and a monstrous creature known to the Native Americans as Oh-Mah.

Starring Casey Gagliardi, Andrew Joseph Montomery, Marshal Hilton, Eloy Casados and Justin Rain, Primal Rage tears into theaters later this year. Dress warmly and step cautiously into this new trailer, then let us know if you've been hungering for a decent Bigfoot film lately.
