James Caviezel, the star of The Passion of the Christ and AMC's upcoming reboot of The Prisoner, suffered cuts and bruises when a man hurled a bicycle into the path of his Harley Davidson motorcycle in the central Washington town of Leavenworth, the Associated Press reported.

The 40-year-old actor was wearing a helmet at the time and was taken Thursday to a local hospital.

State police told the AP that mental issues may be involved in why a 42-year-old Wenatchee, Wash., man tossed the bike.
