Yesterday, the Star Wars Universe and the Marvel Universe finally crossed over...on Twitter.
The official Star Wars Twitter account likes to occassionally host an "Ask Star Wars" session where fans can ask questions about the franchise. The account hosted one such session yesterday, but things took an amusing turn when one of the askers ended up being not just a regular fan, but the official Marvel Twitter account.
What could've been a quick answer instead turned into a blast of bartering, as each account offered the other characters and props from their respective universes in exchange for other characters and props. It was a fun thing to read, but it was also a very amusing reminder that not only are these two franchises owned by the same company, but that Marvel's also got the Star Wars comic book license back starting in 2015. Some of these crossovers could actually happen, and hey, maybe some of the PR people behind these tweets are actually hoping to tease us a bit.
