Marvel's femme fatale, Neena Thurman (aka Domino), is coming back to the publisher in a very big way with her very own comic book from writer Gail Simone and artist David Baldeón. Originally created by Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld in the early 1990s, Domino is likely best known for being a member of the X-Force and her mutant ability to manipulate luck/probability.

The first arc of the series is called "Bad Luck and Trouble," which is described as:

Impossible curves. Impossible shots. Impossible targets. Marvel's #1 soldier of fortune is back in an explosive new ongoing series! The product of a failed super-soldier program, Neena Thurman always made her own luck as the sharpshooting mercenary known as Domino.

“It's just a huge pleasure having Domino be my comeback to Marvel,” Simone said in a statement to SYFY WIRE. “She's everything I love about comics: a kickass female adventurer who lives life at maximum volume. I just adore her. I love writing mercs and mutants again, I love digging deep into what being those things means in a world where nobody trusts them, not even other mercs and mutants.”

“The tale of Domino, as we’re telling it, feels very much like what people will think of when they think of Neena in the future. And the voice! Ever since page one of the first script, Gail nails Neena’s voice,” said Baldeon. “It’s sexy, it has some of the best action I’ve been lucky enough to draw, it has drama and humor, and it takes you on one of the most exciting rides out there today.”

This is certainly a good time to give the character her own series, as Domino (played by Zazie Beetz) will make her cinematic debut in the highly anticipated Deadpool 2 on May 18.

Domino #1 goes on sale April 11, but you can check out the first four pages in the gallery below.
