Real-life Darth Vader tries to storm government building in protest

Turns out the Force wasn't very strong with him on this particular day.

Usually when we think of Darth Vader, we think of the lapdog of the Emperor, the iron fist of an oppressive government who bows to authority (until his son gets involved, that is). But this time, we get to see Vader playing the role of activist, storming a government building.

OK, so it's not the real Darth Vader, but it must have been interesting for Ukrainian authorities to see this Vader-costumed figure strolling down the street with a full squad of stormtroopers behind him. Vader and his troopers were headed for the Ukraine Justice Ministry last Tuesday, to protest a lack of recognition for the Internet Party of Ukraine, a political party founded in 2010 that has since lost its official status.

As you can see in the video below, though he seems to have a good amount of press attention, Vader doesn't make it past the front door of the Justice Ministry. He's quickly turned away by the security guards, and doesn't bother to Force-choke anyone. But at least it's nice to know that Vader's willing to do more than work for the Man.
