Jennifer Lawrence’s hometown, Louisville, Kentucky, has grown to expect her around the holidays. Even more so at her favorite destination, Norton Children's Hospital, which the X-Men and The Hunger Games star visited on Christmas Eve.

According to ABC News, this is at least Lawrence’s fifth trip visiting “the hospital during the holiday season.” In fact, according to a photo caption on Instagram from Norton Children's Hospital, “This visit has become a tradition for Lawrence each Christmas. Thank you, Jennifer! You sure do bring a smile to all!”

It’s certainly close enough to her heart that the actress created her own 14-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at the hospital with a $2 million donation last year. At the time, Lawrence released a statement saying, “My family and I have met so many wonderful children on our visits to the hospital. Their strength and courage is inspiring.” Below are pictures from her visit, hanging with staff and patients over the holiday:

While last year’s Passengers and this year’s mother! provided critically controversial changes of sci-fi and horror pace for the actress, Lawrence will return as the shapeshifting Mystique in X-Men: Dark Phoenix, making it her most frequent role over The Hunger Games’ Katniss Everdeen.

Dark Phoenix opens November 2, 2018.
