Queen Ramonda of Wakanda (Angela Bassett) is a lot more important to King T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) and Princess Shuri (Letitia Wright) than you might think.

Using online Wakandan translators and alphabet guides, Reddit user u/thecruiser_ discovered a heartwarming little easter egg in Marvel Studios' Black Panther. The secret comes during the scene where Shuri is showing the newly crowned king the latest Panther suits that utilize nanites, which absorb kinetic energy that can be repurposed for later use.

After T'Challa kicks one, he notices a pattern of glowing purple designs and Wakandan characters that show up on the torso of the suit (look below). According to u/thecruiser_, the characters actually translate into "I love you, mom."

While Queen Ramonda's role in the film is small, she proves instrumental in helping revive her son after he is defeated by Erik Killmonger and left for dead, before being discovered by the Jabari Mountain Tribe.

Bassett recently spoke on the whereabouts of her character during the events of Avengers: Infinity War, stating that both she and Shuri survived Thanos's deadly Infinity Gauntlet snap. Hopefully, we'll see both of them play a key part in reversing the Mad Titan's devastating deed in Avengers 4
