With Spectre opening wide this weekend, what better time to look back at one of the most entertaining aspects of the James Bond franchise — the gadgets.

Burger Friction has put together a positively amazing retrospective looking back at the entire James Bond film catalog. It adds up to 16+ minutes of spy-fi geek awesomeness. From ejector seats to laser wristwatches, the total is pushing close to a mind-boggling 200 different gadgets across decades of films. If you’re even remotely a lover of spy-fi, it’s a must-see.

Even if you’re not a huge 007 fan, this is a great peek at the retro future, and the nifty tools of the spy trade range from handy (and now real!) to positively bizarre. As much as science fiction films have helped drive the creation and adoption of new technology, it’s easy to forget how many hare-brained ideas were cooked up for these vintage Bond flicks.
