Birds of Prey, the upcoming all-female superhero team-up movie from Warner Bros., might soon have their cast. Actresses from around Hollywood are reportedly being considered for roles to join Harley Quinn's (Margot Robbie) squad in the film.

According to Deadline, a whole host of actresses are reading for prominent roles in Birds of Prey based on the characters from DC Comics including the roles of Black Canary, Huntress, and Rene Montoya. Although none of these deals are officially done, it's still fascinating to think about how these various actresses would portray the iconic characters, some of which have already been brought to life recently on The CW's Arrow.

Reports have it that Mary Elizabeth Winstead (10 Cloverfield Lane), Cristin Milioti (Black Mirror), Sofia Boutella (The Mummy), and Margaret Qualley (The Leftovers) are all in consideration for the role of Huntress (aka Helena Bertinelli), who, in the comics becomes a vigilante super-hero whose goal is eliminating mob activity.

Black Canary (aka Dinah Laurel) also has a couple of actresses reported to be vying for the role including Gugu Mbatha-Raw (A Wrinkle in Time) and Jurnee Smollett-Bell (Underground). Black Canary was most recently played on the screen by Juliana Harkavy on The CW's Arrow.

Reports also say the character of Gotham City police detective Rene Montoya could be played by actresses Justina Machado or Roberta Colindrez.

Of course, these lists are still changing and there's no official word on any deals being made. But, with production beginning next year, we'll likely soon here official cast announcements.
