Marvel legend Stan Lee is reportedly recovering in the hospital after a health scare.
TMZ reports that Lee was taken to the hospital after falling at his home in Los Angeles. The outlet claims the 95-year-old was taken to Cedars-Sinai Wednesday night after suffering shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat.
Following the news, a spokesperson for Lee reportedly updated the site that he "is doing well and feeling good, he is staying there for a few days for some check ups as a safety precaution."
Lee had last been publicly seen on Monday evening, looking in high spirits on the purple carpet at the Black Panther premiere in Hollywood.
Last year, Lee reassured fans that he was in good health after he made the difficult decision to cancel two convention appearances. Taking to his official Facebook account, Lee wrote: “Been feeling almost back up to snuff. So time to send out the battle cry: EXCELSIOR!”
Here's hoping he'll be sending that battle cry out again soon.
