Resurrection stays strong, Hannibal rises + 51 other genre shows

Resurrection proved this week that those big premiere numbers weren't just audience curiosity.

The new drama series returned to somewhat lower numbers with its second episode, but it retained a very large chunk of its premiere audience to win the Sunday night broadcast ratings crown for the second straight week. Meanwhile, Believe put out two episodes in its first week, and while the premiere was solid, the second episode might be reason to worry. Plus HannibalHelix and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. all climbed, and The Walking Dead kept ruling cable.

Check out the numbers and commentary below to see how your favorite shows are doing in Live + Same Day ratings.

MONDAY, March 10

Beauty and the Beast (CW) 0.80 million viewers/0.2/1 share

Beauty and the Beast slipped to a new low in viewers and demo score this week, as the show goes on hiatus with six episodes still left to air. All signs point to cancellation.

Teen Wolf (MTV) 1.79 million viewers/0.8

Teen Wolf slipped for its worst week yet this year, but it could definitely rebound as the finale looms.

Lost Girl (Syfy) 0.73 million viewers/0.3

Lost Girl got a boost across the board this week for its best night in more than a month. We'll see if it keeps growing as the finale nears.

Being Human (Syfy) 1.10 million viewers/0.5

Being Human got a boost across the board this week. The finale is near. We'll see how many fans show up for the sendoff.

Bitten (Syfy) 0.93 million viewers/0.3

Bitten built on a viewership boost last week to tie its all-time high. We'll see if it can keep up the momentum and surpass that.

Intelligence (CBS) 6.62 million viewers/1.3/3 share

Intelligence got a small boost to its demo score and a much bigger boost to its viewers for its best night in a month. That's likely not enough to save it, though. We'll see if it can keep climbing.

Archer (FX) 1.08 million viewers/0.6

Archer rebounded from a low point last week for a solid night.

The Following (FOX) 4.86 million viewers/1.5/4 share

The Following dropped in viewers and demo score this week for its low rating of the season so far. It's already got a renewal, though.

Star-Crossed (CW) 0.99 million viewers/0.3/1 share

Star-Crossed dropped again this week, slipping below 1 million viewers for the first time and looking more and more like a one-season series.

Bates Motel (FX) 2.21 million viewers/0.9

Bates Motel took a sharp drop after its season-two premiere to hit a series low in viewers and demo score. That, coupled with the lack of a rise in viewers with the season-two return, could put the show in trouble, but it could also rebound in the coming weeks. We'll be keeping a close eye on this one.

Believe (NBC) 10.56 million viewers/2.7/8 share

Believe premiered this week as the second-most-watched broadcast show of its night, but its demo score was only good enough to tie it for fourth. Those numbers aren't bad, but we'll see how it does when it moves to Sunday.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC) 5.99 million viewers/2.1/7 share

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. got a nice boost across the board this week, likely thanks to the arrival of Lady Sif, but now the show's on hiatus until April 1. We'll see if Deathlok in action can give the show another rise next month.

Person of Interest (CBS) -- OFF

Supernatural (CW) -- OFF

The Originals (CW) 1.73 million viewers/0.8/3 share

The Originals slipped to a new low in viewers this week, but it also got a renewal from The CW, so fans can rest easy.

Revolution (NBC) 4.63 million viewers/1.3/4 share

The Tomorrow People (CW) -- OFF

Elementary (CBS) 8.94 million viewers/1.7/5 share

Elementary lost a bit off its demo score, but it picked up some viewers, plus a season-three renewal.

The Vampire Diaries (CW) -- OFF

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (ABC) 3.22 million viewers/0.8/3 share

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland slipped to tie its demo score low and set a new low in viewers. It's hard to see this one sticking around.

FRIDAY, March 14

Grimm (NBC) 5.63 million viewers/1.6/5 share

Grimm dropped a few viewers but got a demo score boost for another strong Friday.

Hannibal (NBC) 2.47 million viewers/0.9/3 share

Hannibal lost a handful of viewers in its third week, but picked up a tenth of a demo point. That, plus the DVR ratings from the season premiere (which nearly doubled that episode's demo score) definitely up the odds of this show sticking around. It's still early, though.

The Neighbors (ABC) 3.45 million viewers/0.8/3 share

The Neighbors hit another new low in viewers this week and tied its lowest demo score. This show is still very likely on the way out.

Helix (Syfy) 1.18 million viewers/0.5

Helix lost a few viewers but hit its highest demo score since Feb. 7. With just two episodes left, we'll see if the show finishes strong.

The Walking Dead (AMC) 12.86 million viewers/6.4

The Walking Dead got a boost across the board this week for another dominant Sunday.

Once Upon a Time (ABC) 7.75 million viewers/2.4/7 share

Once Upon a Time picked up a few viewers and held its demo score to keep 2014 going strong.

Resurrection (ABC) 11.25 million viewers/3.1/8 share

Resurrection dropped in both viewers and demo score in its second week, but that's usually expected with a new series. Its retention was impressive, though, good enough to put it at the top of all broadcast shows on the night. That's a very good start.

Cosmos (FOX) 4.95 million viewers/2.0/5 share

Cosmos dropped across the board this week, but it retained a sizable chunk of its viewers and demo score. So far, its numbers aren't huge, but the people who are watching seem interested in coming back.

Believe (NBC) 6.57 million viewers/1.5/4 share

Believe took a sharp drop in its move to Sunday for its second episode, cutting both the viewers and demo score of the series premiere almost in half. That's a bad sign, but maybe it'll settle in on Sundays and get a little momentum back.
