Well, this is a pleasant Comic-Con surprise.
Westworld just began production on its second season, so we weren't necessarily expecting any new footage or details to emerge during the HBO drama's panel at SDCC this weekend. Thankfully, we were wrong about that. The series just dropped a new teaser for next year's Season 2, and it's full of tantalizing little details.
We've got Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) looking at the body of a tiger and riding along with the security team. We've got The Man In Black (Ed Harris) stained with blood and finally somewhat satisfied that the stakes have been raised. We've got that old reliable player piano cranking out notes that lead us into Sammy Davis Jr.'s voice. We've got Maeve (Thandie Newton) and Sizemore (Simon Quarterman) seemingly poised to rewrite everything we know about the park. And perhaps most important, we've got Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) still on the rampage. It's a lot to process, but then again... that's Westworld.
Season 2 won't arrive until next year, but take in the full trailer below and pick apart all the details.
