This week, Nickelodeon dropped the latest iteration of Kevin Eastman's iconic sewer dwellers with the all-new animated series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Developed by artists Andy Suriano and Ant Ward, this new 2-D take on the classic heroes-in-a-halfshell takes place in New York City, and in an alternate dimension filled with weird villains and adventure.
Voicing all the crazy is an equally nutty, yet delightful, voice cast, including: Ben Schwartz (Leonardo), Omar Benson Miller (Raphael), Josh Brener (Donatello), Brandon Mychal Smith (Michelangelo), and Kat Graham (April O'Neil).
SYFY WIRE was able to corral Brener, Smith, Graham, and Miller together to talk about voicing characters that made a huge impact on their childhood. Plus, they digress into topics like places not to find your inner Raph in Los Angeles and how Juilliard influences the new Mikey (and Donnie). All while Kat patiently tolerates her co-stars.
