Marvel Comics has a serious case of rock and roll fever with the latest batch of themed variant covers for September, and we've got a first look at a fab foursome.

Check out these musically-inspired covers featuring funny-book renditions of four killer albums from the '70s, '80s and '90s including Mike Hawthorne and Nathan Fairbairn’s remix of Nirvana’s Nevermind for Guardians of the Galaxy #9, artist Damion Scott’s head-banging tribute to Guns N’ Roses' Appetite for Destruction (the biggest selling debut album of all time) for Inhumans: Once and Future Kings #2, Marco Rudy’s spin on the The Clash’s immortal London Calling for Mighty Thor #23 and Daniel Acuna’s version of Blondie’s Parallel Lines for X-Men Blue #11. The fifth cover of the complete set, Mike Del Mundo’s cover for X-Men Gold #11, has not been unveiled yet.

Harken back to a time when artistic albums ruled the music industry and put these Marvel rock 'n roll variants in the gallery below on the platter for a spin.
