If you were ever wondering exactly how the dashing Cassian Andor and his sarcastic ex-Imperial droid, K-2S0, came to partner up against the Empire, Marvel will satisfy your curiosity in August when it releases Rogue One: Cassian & K-2SO.

Written by Duane Swierczynski and paired with art from Fernando Blanco, this will be another one-shot issue similar to the Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens C-3PO special where we learn how the protocol droid gained his radical red arm. This new Rogue One backstory comic will illuminate what brought the Rebel officer together with K-2 and the circumstance by which his programming was wiped and altered to serve the rebellion.

Here's a first peek at the cover for Rogue One: Cassian & K-2SO #1 and let us know if you'll investigate their first encounter when the cosmic origin tale is told.
