Ron Howard continues to be one of the best people on Twitter when it comes to Star Wars news and, yep, he just did it again. Howard recorded a short video to announce that principal photography has wrapped on the film and then oh so casually dropped the name of the film.
Check it out below:
Yeah, that's right: SOLO.
In the Star Wars universe of secrecy, it's nice to see both Ron Howard and Rian Johnson sharing this sort of stuff with the fans. None of it is earth shattering and none of it gives away major spoilers, but it manages to stoke the flames of the fandom perfectly. It's crazy to think we're nerding out over a title reveal with production wrapping, but hey, this is Star Wars we're talking about.
Of course, end of principal photography doesn't mean the end of production as a whole. There's still work to do on Solo: A Star Wars Story and something tells us Ron Howard's nowhere near done with tweeting about his little indie movie about this smuggler guy who becomes kind of a big deal a bit later on.
Solo: A Star Wars Story opens May 25, 2018.
