While I’m sure most of us are excited about the new Hellboy movie starring Stranger Things’ David Harbour as the titular demonic hero and Ian McShane as his adoptive father, Professor Broom, the same can’t be said about a former Hellboy star.
Actor Ron Perlman, who played the character in Guillermo del Toro’s two Hellboy films, has taken to Twitter in order to answer a fan question about whether there’s a chance he could put in a cameo appearance in director Neil Marshall’s movie. Let’s just say … Perlman’s answer was short and the right amount of cool.
It’s no secret Perlman and del Toro have been trying to get a third Hellboy movie off the ground for years in order to finish the trilogy, so this new movie must have been a massive blow to the dynamic moviemaking duo.
Titled Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen, the R-rated new movie (described as dark and violent), slated for a 2018 release, sees our hero facing off against a medieval sorceress hell-bent on destroying humanity. Marshall will direct from a screenplay written by Mike Mignola, Andrew Crosby, and Christopher Golden.
What do you think of Ron Perlman's answer?
