The seeds were planted in Rebirth, and now DC Comics is preparing to bring the Watchmen into the world where Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman live — and it looks like Rorschach will definitely be along for the ride.

DC’s Geoff Johns has revealed the lenticular cover of Doomsday Clock No. 1, which features a close-up shot of street-level Watchmen hero Rorschach sporting his trademark mask, which changes into the logos of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman (aka The Trinity). It’s positively stunning, and will almost certainly be one of the biggest sellers once this event kicks off in earnest.

Little is known about the exact story DC plans to tell with this event, though Doctor Manhattan has been positioned as an extremely powerful god with the ability to rewrite reality on a whim. Manhattan looks to challenge hope itself in the DC universe, and it’ll be interesting to see how a few other Watchmen heroes will factor into the mix. Which side will Rorschach come down on, and how will he fit into this world?

Doomsday Clock No. 1 hits shelves November 22.
