The stakes will no doubt be bigger in the Avengers sequel, and that means the superhero team is going to need reinforcements.
When last we left Tony and Rhodie at the end of Iron Man 3, it seemed like their superhero days were over. Of course, we already knew better in the case of Tony Stark.
Since the announcement of Age of Ultron, we hadn't heard much regarding Iron Patriot other than a vague maybe from Don Cheadle. But now it looks like things are changing.
We already knew the script was finished, but in a recent interview with USA Today, it seems that Cheadle, while going over his extensive filming schedule, included one particular gig.
Yes, it was Age of Ultron.
Beyond he "has a part to film in the next Avengers movie," though, we don't know what else to expect. Although, since Ultron is the foe, we're assuming the Avengers are going to need all the help they can get. Of course he could also be fodder for the "Joss Whedon kills the characters we love" machine, too.
Guess we'll find out. Until then, weigh in -- are you excited about Cheadle's involvement? And who else are you hoping might make the cut?
