Rumor of the Day: Did this famous mutant get completely cut from Days of Future Past?

Looks like not every mutant is going to get their time to shine.

When Bryan Singer came back to the X-franchise in an effort to combine the First Class cast with his previous incarnations, there was always a quiet acknowledgment that not everybody would get their due.

When filming for Days of Future Past began, I gotta admit I was surprised that Halle Berry was set to come back as Storm. It was already confirmed that she wasn't going to be around much because of her pregnanacy, but let's not mince words here: The reason that I (and many others) kind of hoped Berry wouldn't be back isn't very kind.

She was kind of a @#!$ Storm.

Sure, Berry's an Oscar winner and all, but I'm pretty sure the world is still in mourning that Angela Bassett passed on Ororo nearly 15 years ago.

But back to the pregnancy. Supposedly Storm's role was already going to be curtailed due to Berry's limited time and ability to perform. But now, in the editing room, the rumor is that Ororo may have been cut from the film entirely. Or, depending on who you believe, that she "only has one line in the whole movie."

There's precedent for this already, since Anna Paquin came in to film some Rogue stuff and has already been left to the cutting-room floor. Still, there are opposing rumors that claim Storm will still appear and get to do something cool. And, considering how pushy Berry has been in the past (she only agreed to appear in X-Men: The Last Stand after Brett Ratner agreed to expand her role), it's easy to imagine she won't go down without a fight.

But let's hear it from you -- should Halle Berry's Storm be in the final cut?
