We already know that Marvel wants to make Doctor Strange a major part of Phase III, and now some tipsters claim they have a rough synopsis for the screenplay.

The report comes via Latino-Review, and they claim to have the details of a script treatment for the film written by Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer.

But instead of just reporting on it, they’ve gone a step further to create some video featurettes — spliced together with still shots, comic grabs and animated stills — to essentially tell the story in its broad strokes.

So what’s there? A pretty straightforward origin tale, as we follow Doctor Strange through the discovery of his powers and the greater supernatural world that exists around him. It’s hard to fully grasp in lo-fi video form, but the sign posts are there for what could be a good movie.

Of course, even if this draft is legit right now, a lot could change in the next few years of development. So take it with a fun (but heaping) grain of salt.
