Following the news/rumor that Steppenwolf would be the actual Big Bad in Justice League: Part One some intriguing information has begun to trickle out revealing what sort of presence Darkseid will have in the movie and why Steppenwolf will be the villain Earth’s heroes will have to face.

Yesterday, Devin Faraci of Birth. Movies. Death said that “Darkseid is a presence in the movie, and fully appears at the end of the film, but don't expect him to do much.”

According to Heroic Hollywood, seems like the ruler of Apokolips will also appear at the beginning of the film in a flashback sequence, and even though Steppenwolf will be the movie’s main threat, this one won’t really factor into the story until the second part of the superhero team-up movie. This is a rumor, so grain of salt, you guys.

They’ve also revealed the potential plot of the Zack Snyder-directed movie but they also warn there are daily script rewrites on set and that it could either change or be left out entirely. I've put it under the spoiler cut below in case you guys aren't sure if you want to be spoiled or not. Also, I just think it looks fancy. Here it is:

Open eyeClose eye Show Spoiler Around 30,000 years ago, the Amazonians, the Atlanteans, and Man successfully fought off Darkseid here on Earth. He left three motherboxes behind and that folks is what Steppenwolf is after in Justice League: Part One. That is pretty much your plot. You can see Steppenwolf and the three motherboxes in the deleted “Communion” scene from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Again, until it's officially confirmed, file this under RUMOR. But if true, what do you think of the way Darkseid and Steppenwolf will possibly be introduced in Justice League: Part One
