Is Marvel trying to pull a fast one on us? According to ComicBookMovie, the studio and ABC are gearing up for another television series. Apparently it's a project that's yet to be named, but it's been in preproduction for a while. As a matter of fact, they're starting to hire crew members to shoot the pilot.

It's being shot in Vancouver, British Columbia, following in the footsteps of other comic-based shows like Arrow and Smallville. The production's working title is That Old Chestnut, and it's Marvel's biggest TV project yet. The studio is doing everything they can to keep a lid on it. CBM's source is a industry veteran who claims "that in his twenty years of experience, he hasn't seen this level of devotion to security."

There are several Marvel series on the horizon, but Agent Carter seems like the best fit. When asked about it, the source replied, "Mum's the word." Obviously, that can mean anything, but it wasn't a flat-out no. Last week, Hayley Atwell was confirmed to reprise her role for the pilot, written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Both scribes previously wrote Captain America: The First Avenger as well as the upcoming sequel, The Winter Soldier.

Agent Carter's the only joint ABC/Marvel project we can think of that has enough traction for an actual shoot, unless there's another top-secret title being kept under wraps. With Marvel, you never know.
