The team behind AMC’s monster zombie hit The Walking Dead is hard at work on the new season, and some new set reports hint at a few familiar faces coming back from the grave.

Potential spoilers ahead for The Walking Dead!

Showrunner Scott Gimple has previously mentioned they’re working on an ambitious flashback episode for Season 6, and a new set report from The Spoiling Dead Fans points to two fan favorites who could be making a return trip to the apocalypse. The list includes Michael Rooker (aka Merle Dixon, Daryl’s brother), and Tyler James Williams (aka Noah, who died in the revolving door). The report notes Rooker was actually spotted on set, while Williams was apparently seen near the production.

So, grain of salt, but it makes sense these two could pop up if they’re hanging around the Georgia set. Here’s the full report:

Rooker is obviously a fan favorite, and following his breakout role in Guardians of the Galaxy, it’d be a no-brainer to bring him back for a flashback role if it fit the narrative. As for Williams, his character had his life cut tragically short — just as it was starting to finally improve. It’d be great to see him again, in whatever capacity they’re potentially considering (flashback, perhaps a dream).

What do you think? Would you like to see these two back in action? How?
