As exciting as the first, brief teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was, it truly fit the definition of a teaser: It revealed absolutely nothing about the story and only gave us quick glimpses of new leads John Boyega and Daisy Ridley, as well as an indirect look at a cloaked villain.
But according to Latino Review, the next teaser -- which will be attached to The Avengers: Age of Ultron in theaters starting May 1 -- will provide new footage of beloved returning characters Luke (Mark Hamill), Han (Harrison Ford), Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), 32 years after we last saw them.
Age of Ultron comes out a little earlier in Australia and New Zealand (April 23) and the U.K. (April 24), so don't be surprised if the trailer pops up online around that time as well (and hopefully in an official capacity, not caught sideways on someone's iPhone).
Who will get to see it first? I'd wager it will be the fans attending this year's Star Wars Celebration, taking place in Anaheim, Calif., April 16-19. And it would not be off-base to imagine that a special guest or two might take a quick trip down from Los Angeles to introduce the thing as well.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is out in theaters Dec. 18, 2015. Are you looking forward to a glimpse of Luke and the gang three months from now?
