After everyone had pretty much abandoned all hope of ever seeing a member of the Green Lantern Corps pop up in Zack Snyder's Justice League, it now seems that one cosmic superhero will indeed appear in the DC movie.
According to Umberto Gonzalez (skip to the 21:00 mark), there will be a Green Lantern in Justice League. However (yes Virginia, there is a however), from what the scooper says below, we can pretty much rule out Guy Gardner, Hal Jordan, John Stewart or any other human Lantern from giving aid to the Justice League in their fight against Steppenwolf (the presence of a Green Lantern wouldn't be that surprising since they're an alien interstellar police force tasked with protecting the universe) because it sounds like this Lantern will have a weird-sounding name. Here's the money quote:
"Yes, there is a Green Lantern in Justice League, but I forgot how to pronounce it."
While this doesn't help zero in on which alien member of the Green Lantern Corps will appear on Justice League ('cause there are a lot of them), I think we can rule out Sinestro, because I'm sure Gonzalez would have remembered his name.
Could it be Jediah Caul? Abin Sur? Tomar-Re? Isamot Kol? Vandor? Kilowog? Sheriff Mardin? As per usual, don't forget to take this news with a pinch of salt, since it's only a rumor (at least for now).

Justice League opens on Nov. 17, while Green Lantern Corps is currently scheduled for July 24, 2020.
