OK, new rule: All music videos must now be set in the Rick and Morty universe. It's official now, no take-backs. Just take a lookie-loo at this Adult Swim-animated accompaniment to "Oh Mama" by hip-hop duo Run the Jewels, El-P and rapper Killer Mike. While this track is off their 2016 album Run the Jewels 3, it's never too late to set the music to what is essentially a three-minute-long episode of Rick and Morty. Highly and beautifully stylized, the video feels like an actual part of the show while evoking other properties like Pulp Fiction and Men in Black.

Completely dialogue-free, we find both Rick and Morty in sleek black suits and even sleeker sunglasses busting in on an alien club and shooting up the place just for a mysterious briefcase. Are we happy, Morty? Yeah, we're happy. Then they're chased back to Rick's lab under the Smith home by the owner of the briefcase. The interdimensional genius and his grandson grow an alien just to smack him around before more aliens launch an assault on the lab. Their efforts are in vain, as Rick is always one step ahead. Even the ending is a shocking reveal that is so true to the amazingly genius spirit of the series.

You know what? Don't take our word for how awesome this thing is. Just watch it below for yourself:

Run the Jewels have steadily been making a name for themselves in the world of hip-hop and got an international stage when the first teaser trailer for Black Panther featured their song "Legend Has It."

The Adult Swim cartoon from Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland wrapped up its third season in October. There is no word on when Season 4 might arrive. In the meantime, we've still got this music video to watch until it gets here. Luckily, you don't need fancy sauces or a Plumbus to enjoy the video.
