Sony has released a new video featurette (and a poster) for their upcoming sci-fi thriller Life, directed by Daniel Espinosa (Safe House, Child 44) from a screenplay written by Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

The movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds, Rebecca Ferguson, Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine), Ariyon Bakare (Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell) and Olga Dihovichnaya (House of Others) as a team of six scientists on board the International Space Station. Things quickly take a deadly turn when they discover a mysterious alien life form that caused the extinction of life on Mars and now threatens not only the crew but all life on Earth as well [insert sounds of doom here].

The featurette contains scenes from the movie as well as interviews with Space and Emergency Medicine Expert Dr. Kevin Fong and Geneticist Dr. Adam Rutherford.

Life opens on March 24. Will it be a must-see for you?
