The list of former Star Wars stars commenting on a potential return in the upcoming seventh installment continues to grow—and now Mace Windu himself has chimed in. So would Samuel L. Jackson come back for Star Wars VII?

Not surprisingly, the franchise hopper would be delighted to take up his Jedi lightsaber once again in a new trilogy, and even had some ideas on how he could return (despite his untimely demise).

He told E! Online:

"I'm not surprised but totally geeked by the idea of there being more Star Wars. It's like, okay, Obi-Wan was dead when episode four started, so maybe everyone thinks I'm dead and we'll find out what happened to Mace Windu. I can come back as one-armed or a one-handed Jedi that's still around that didn't actually die ...

I could do that or be a ghost hologram. I don't care," Jackson quipped. "I just want to stay associated with the franchise. Not that I won't because I've been in three of them."

Considering he was already a part of the prequel series, and is currently popping up all over Marvel's superhero films as S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury, Jackson is no stranger to big franchise work. Plus he was one of the coolest things about the prequel films.

What do you think? Can we find a way to get Mace Windu back in action?
