It’s been more than a decade since Samurai Jack first slashed his way into our hearts, and now he's back for a new limited series.

Cartoon Network's Adult Swim has dropped the first trailer for the long-awaited Samurai Jack revival, a new limited series set 50 years after the events of the original early 2000s series. The story picks up with an older Jack, and time has not been kind to him. Aku has destroyed every time portal and Jack has stopped aging at this point, a side effect of time travel. Jack is seemingly cursed to roam the Earth forever until a team of assassins comes looking to snuff him out.

The footage here features machine guns, killer assassins and some fantastic action, and the 10-episode revival looks to be a more adult series and will tell a more cohesive, long-form story. The new season of Samurai Jack premieres Saturday, March 11, on Adult Swim.
