Sandra Oh may be co-hosting the Golden Globes with Andy Samberg, but the actress was called to the stage tonight to accept her award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama, for her portrayal of Eve Polastri in BBC America's espionage thriller Killing Eve.

While the Oh was getting a bit choked up in an emotional acceptance speech, she thanked her family and her team. She also dedicated a special moment to her parents, Oh Junsu (John) and Jeon Young-nam, who were sitting in the audience.

"There are two people here tonight that I'm so grateful that they're here with me. I'd like to thank my mother and my father," Oh said, before thanking them from the stage in their native Korean.

Killing Eve first premiered back in April, and immediately resonated with both critics and audiences, and currently sports a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. Which is great, since a second season was given the green light ahead of the premiere.

Oh's Polastri is an MI5 desk jockey who's tasked with tracking down the twisted assassin known as Villanelle, played by Jodie Comer. As her investigation continues, she becomes increasingly obsessed with the killer, who in turn becomes obsessed with her tracker.

This marks Oh's first Best Performance award but is her second Golden Globes win overall. She'd previously taken home the trophy in 2006 for Best Supporting Performance for her work in the long-running medical drama Grey's Anatomy.

Killing Eve is also up for the Best Television Series - Drama award tonight. The second season will premiere on Sunday, April 7. If you want to catch up on what you missed (or just watch it a second time), the first season is available to stream on Hulu.
