Legends of Tomorrow star Caity Lotz will be heading back to Star City for the Arrow Season 6 finale. Will Sara Lance’s return be what finally helps redeem Black Siren (Katie Cassidy)?

According to Collider, Lotz will be showing up in the final episode of the sixth season of The CW superhero series, set to air on May 17. Sara was the original Black Canary on Arrow before she was murdered at the start of Season 3 and resurrected in Season 4. She became the White Canary and was then recruited by Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) to become a member of the crew of the Waverider on Legends of Tomorrow, before assuming the role of Captain.

While the storyline and what Sara’s role will be is still being kept under wraps, one can speculate that her arrival in Star City could have something to do with that whole Earth-2 evil Laurel Lance/Black Siren business and poor Quentin’s (Paul Blackthorne) attempts to try to redeem her. Will Sara take some time off from her duties as Captain of the Waverider to help her dad in his endeavors; or will she smack some sense into him by reminding him that this Laurel is not his real daughter? While there, there’s no doubt Sara will likely be lending a helping hand to Team Arrow in their battle against Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo), aka Dragon.

Before going on hiatus, Black Siren was slowly starting to earn Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) trust by helping them rescue Roy Harper (Colton Haynes)… only to be revealed that she was secretly working with Diaz (Kirk Acevedo). Then she went public as the real Laurel Lance (which may be what alerts Sara to the existence of this version of her dead sister, sending her to Star City) in order to protect herself from Dinah Drake/Black Canary’s (Juliana Harkavy) need for revenge following Black Siren’s murder of Dinah's boyfriend, Vincent Sobel (Johann Urb).
