Chris Pratt was on hand to debut a brand-new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 during tonight's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, revealing our first live-action look at Kurt Russell as Star-Lord's dad, Ego the Living Planet. Ready to save the galaxy again?

The world premiere trailer was released following yesterday's clip which featured the crew of the Milano assembled around a campfire while Drax (Dave Bautista) was slurping in his meal -- much to everyone’s annoyance, dude! (It's included below, in case you missed it the first time 'round.)

The latest Guardians Vol. 2 trailer features quite a lot of new footage, including more scenes with Nebula and Mantis and a lot of heart and humor. And holy smokes! How huge is Gamora's gun?

Oh, and did I mention Snake Plissken is in the trailer as Ego the Living Planet?

Directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as Baby Groot (Love. Him. So. Much), Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Glenn Close as Nova Prime, Kurt Russell as Ego the Living Planet, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Pom Klementieff as Mantis.

Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their new-found family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 opens on May 5.
