Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Transformers, Fringe), Josh Friedman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) and Steven Spielberg (we don't have to ID him, do we?) are teaming up to turn Joe Hill's Locke & Key comic-book series into a TV series—and with a sci-fi dream team like that, we're expecting big things. Wouldn't you?

Dimension had bought the TV and film rights to Locke & Key—about three kids who watch over a spooky New England mansion with doors that open to different dimensions and give them special powers—back in 2008. The buzz for a while was that Kurtzman and Orci would turn Locke & Key into a feature film, and this is the first we're hearing that Hill's story could end up on TV instead.

While the potential series doesn't have a home as yet, the Fox network is reportedly in talk to develop Locke & Key with 20th Century Fox TV and DreamWorks TV.

What do you think? With names like that, would you tune in?
